Once again I was fortunate enough to get permission to publish work of another brilliant artist. His name is Gihan Mendis. He's one of the best I've found so far and does brilliant portraits. Punk with a mohawk

Those who follow PencilArt.tk facebook page might have seen this earlier. This was done a very long time after my last drawing. I did this by using another drawing. But unfortunately it didn't have the face of the punk. So I have to draw it without any reference. That's why it doesn't seem that realistic. I don't think it's that bad though. But who am I to judge. Leave a comment to let me know what you think.

Chace Crawford

Sorry for not posting for a while here. (I've been updating and sketching on our FB page though). Today I'm gonna introduce you to another great Sri Lankan artist. She is Lakmini Silva. Here's a drawing Lakmini did of Chace Crawford.

(I got my Intuos4 yesterday. It is really good and feels natural. Still, I'm only sketching with it. But those who know, know that an Intuos4 opens the door to infinite possibilities. I am still learning and on my way.)

I wanted to upload this on the 30th but couldn't because my scanner was not detected by my PC. (So I have to connect the scanner to my laptop and install the drivers and stuff) But after all that I was finally able to upload it. I appreciate if you could leave a comment.

Manga girl lying

Another manga art by Yasiru. (This reminded me of 'Honey Honey' the 80's cartoon. Ah the nostalgia. Used to watch it when I was about 5, 6 years old) The drawing is very 'manga'. His skill with manga has developed over the years. His rendering is superb too.

Gentle kiss

I know that this is a little bit more sensual than any of the previous works we have posted so far but I was not ready to lose it. It is by Tharindu Fernando, a great Sri Lankan artist I found on facebook. I fell in love with this at first glance. The rendering is brilliant. Light control is excellent. The face of the woman has been done with subtle strokes to show the expression on her face. Without it, this wouldn't have been the drawing you see now.

A car after a long time. This is not what you'd expect from a manga guy like Yasiru but the drawing is pretty cool. Well, he's gone little off in his alloy wheels but as a whole I like this drawing. Leave a comment and say what you think.

Naruto and Sakura kissing

It's good to be back after several months of inactivity. I thank you all for patient and bearing with us. I thought of starting all over again with something I found to be quite sweet, to be honest with you. I hope you will think the same. By now you'll be able to tell it's one of Yasiru's. He has improved a lot during the past few months and have established a unique style of drawing.

(I am hoping to do a face-lift for our fb page soon and post regularly from now on)
